Art is Here
2009, July 29 Gabriel's Garden
Rich at Gabriel's Garden saw a photograph of Phil Dillingham's recently purchased "John the Baptist" and invited me to show similar works for his Artisan's Festival during the month of August. Intrigued by the idea, I was able to paint 6 more pieces in the Windows series for the show and one more for Phil. During the month of August, you can see the paintings and purchase one for yourself, and in addition, there are sets of the series made into ucards for saying thank you, miss you, love you, or anything you want to say.

Thursday August 13, there is going to be a Wine reception for patrons to view and meet the artists. Mark your calendars. Hope to see you there.
2009, June 4 *John the Baptist*
Signed the completed work commissioned by Pastor Phil Dillingham this morning. Last night I shared the development of it and he voiced his delight in being able to view it in person before going out of town for a period.

This piece is one in a series, inspired by 12th century stained glass. The overall piece is in a sky blue and nars black, with a touch of cloud white. As you view, the overall appearance is of looking at a leaded glass and seeing the bright blue sky through a great leader.

2009 Lendell Jewelers
What started as a purchase of jewelry for my wife and daughters blossomed into friendship. In mutual admiration of content, at LindellJewelers, in Brentwood Michael rotates his work between the diamond rings and Oceanaut watches. Stop by and look at her newest collections. Ask Carolyn for something that sparkles, or have her fine craftsmen make something for you personally. And if you ask her about Michael's work, she'll say "what do you mean? I had to have the first piece he brought in. It was Christmas gift for my daughter. That's what I think about it." Be sure to tell you where you heard about her store. She'll love it.
